Sport goes far beyond the boundaries of the playing field. It creates experiences, connects people from different countries, and opens the door to new collaborations.
We are delighted that Salonica View had the opportunity to manage the transportation of an international volleyball team visiting Cyprus for a series of friendly matches, in collaboration with the Anorthosis Famagusta Women’s Volleyball Team.
For us, however, this was much more than simply transporting a team from one place to another.
This collaboration represents another step towards an area we are looking to develop even further: sports tourism.
From Transportation to Complete Organisation
At Salonica View, we believe that hosting a sports team requires careful planning, reliability, and effective coordination.
We can organise and manage different aspects of a sports team’s visit to Cyprus, from transportation and accommodation to activities, excursions, and experiences for athletes, staff, and accompanying guests.
Our goal is to provide teams visiting Cyprus for friendly matches, training camps, tournaments, or other sporting events with a trusted local partner who can take care of the organisation of their stay.
Bringing Sport and Tourism Together
Cyprus has all the right conditions to welcome international sports teams and further develop its potential as a sports tourism destination.
Through collaborations like this, athletes and teams do not simply travel to Cyprus to compete. They also have the opportunity to discover the island, experience its culture and hospitality, and build new connections through sport.
