A special experience and an important opportunity to highlight the potential of alternative tourism in Cyprus.
Andreas Tsangaris, General Manager of Salonica View, participated in a special "Council of Ministers" session held at the Presidential Palace as part of the "Take a Stand" (Pare Thesi) programme, organised by the Office of the Commissioner for the Citizen.
During the session, he symbolically took on the role of Minister of Tourism, presenting his proposal entitled "Alternative Tourism", focusing on the development and promotion of alternative forms of tourism in Cyprus.
His proposal highlighted the island's natural beauty, hiking opportunities, geological heritage, history, and authentic local experiences, showcasing the potential of Cyprus as a destination that offers much more than traditional tourism.
A Special Moment at the Presidential Palace
As part of this experience, Andreas Tsangaris had the opportunity to meet and introduce himself to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, marking a memorable moment during his participation in this important initiative.
The programme provided a valuable platform for sharing ideas, presenting proposals, and contributing to discussions about the future of tourism in Cyprus.
Alternative Tourism: A New Perspective for Cyprus
At Salonica View, we believe that tourism goes beyond traditional destinations and popular attractions. It is about discovering nature, exploring local culture, experiencing history, and connecting with the authentic identity of each destination.
Through our organised excursions, hiking adventures, and unique travel experiences, we continuously aim to showcase the lesser-known but equally impressive sides of Cyprus.
From scenic nature trails and breathtaking landscapes to historical landmarks and traditional villages, Cyprus offers countless opportunities for visitors seeking meaningful and memorable experiences.
Our General Manager's participation in the "Take a Stand" programme was an excellent opportunity to share ideas and highlight the importance of developing alternative tourism as part of Cyprus's tourism future.
Our Vision at Salonica View
We are committed to promoting Cyprus as a destination rich in natural beauty, cultural heritage, and authentic experiences.
We believe that alternative tourism can contribute to a more diverse and sustainable tourism sector while encouraging visitors and local residents to discover and appreciate the island from a different perspective.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Office of the Commissioner for the Citizen for organising this valuable initiative and providing the opportunity to participate.
At Salonica View, we continue with the same vision: to showcase the beauty of Cyprus, promote its natural and cultural treasures, and create authentic travel experiences that inspire people to explore more.
