A few words about our hike:
Together with the experienced leader-companion of our office, we will start our adventure on the Artemis path 300m from the connection point of Chionistras - Troodos - Prodromou. The route is circular for 7km, around the top of Olympus (Xionistra) at an altitude of 1850m, and offers excellent views in all directions. It is literally a top walk, as it consists of two paths, one of which is the Artemis Path, which we will explore together. Its course is parallel to the second Atalanti Path and in some places, the paths approach each other. The route does not have a significant gradient until towards the end after the Ski Center where the route becomes slightly uphill for 200-300 meters.
