The office of outdoor activities and sports tourism Salonica View organizes hiking in the Dam and the artificial Lake Triadi.
A few words about the Dam and the artificial Lake Triadi:
Lake Triadi is located in the wider area of Thermi, we find it following a passable dirt road just outside the village of Triadi. This is an artificial lake that was created in 1997 when the Triadi Dam was built by the Municipality of Thermi. Although small in size, it creates a beautiful natural landscape, surrounded by hills and a forest of lush pines. The lake and the dam took their name, of course, from the village.
Fox trail:
From the lake starts a 12 km trail called "Fox Trail". This is a circular route of not much difficulty, almost 3 hours. The trail that follows the path is parallel to the shores of the lake initially but slowly ascending it passes through small ravines and dells. The path also passes through the abandoned settlement of Mersinouda. In the "path of the fox" there are several places with views in addition to the lake, the mountain range of Chortiatis, and the city of Thessaloniki. If the weather allows, the visibility to the Thermaic Gulf reaches as far as Olympus.

Note 1. For the best operation of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the escorts.
Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the trip is postponed to another date. Participants who are unable to attend on this date will receive a refund. However, if the weather conditions still do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and a refund is given to everyone. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the date of the event, the money is non-refundable.
