The Salonica View team is organizing a superb one-day hike and wine-boat trip accompanied by local buffalo products in one of the International Flag wetlands of Greece, Lake Kerkini! Then a visit and tour of the T'Apostoli Vineyard with a tasting of spirits!
A few words about our excursion:
We will have the opportunity to admire the wetland of Lake Kerkini, and the beauty of the riparian forest, the Strymon River delta, the breeding grounds, the magnificent mountain slopes, the bird nests and the island "home" of the Pelicans. The secret of Kerkini is the thousands of birds scattered in its peaceful waters. Our boat trip will be accompanied by a wine tasting on board of 4 wines from the T'Apostoli Vineyard along with an individual platter of buffalo side dishes.
We will feel the embrace of nature, passing by the boats among the wild willows of the riparian forest with the blooming water lilies that stand in clusters on its water mirror. The "plaves", the characteristic boats of the lake, which bring us into direct contact with the water element, but at a safe distance from the birds that perch on its banks.
After completing our boat trip, we will visit the T'Apostoli Vineyard where we will have the opportunity to tour its premises and taste 2 additional spirits!

Lake Kerkini
In the northwestern part of the prefecture of Serres, just 40 km. from the capital of the same name and about 100 km from Thessaloniki, we find one of the most beautiful places in our country. Lake Kerkini, one of the 10 wetlands of International Importance in Greece.

Activity of exceptional interest in the wetland of Lake Kerkini. Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is transferred to another date. Participants who cannot participate on the specific date will be refunded. However, if the weather conditions still prevent the event from taking place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or a few days before the event date, the money is not refunded.
