The Salonica View team organizes a unique evening hike under the moonlight in the peri-urban forest of Thessaloniki, Sheikh Sou.
A few words about the route
We will all start our walk together from Filipeio hotel, in the peri-urban forest of Thessaloniki, a dense pine forest where it will pleasantly surprise us with its paths, wooden bridges and forest roads. Arriving at the highest point of the route we will follow, we will stop to admire the Corn Full Moon accompanied by a glass of wine.
The hike is suitable for the whole family and we will be especially happy to have our "little" hikers join our company. Of course, the accompaniment of a guardian is necessary for our little friends. Then, with the companionship of the moonlight and the headlamps that we all must have, we will complete our night hike from the point where we started, Hotel Filipeio.
Route Features:
• Total track length: 6.5mm. (circular route)
• Altitude: 155 meters
• Total hiking time (with the stop): 2.5 -3 hours
• Degree of difficulty of the route: 1+ (scale 1 – 5, satisfactory physical condition)
• Suitable for children: 8+ (must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

You must have with you:
1. Athletic or hiking shoes
2. Leggings, bermuda shorts, light long pants, quick-dry clothing, t-shirt, sweatshirt, windbreaker / light jacket, etc.
3. Change of clothes
4. Small backpack for your personal belongings
5. Water, snacks
6. Whistle
7. Waterproof jacket
8. Hand sanitizer
9. Head lens (mandatory for those who don't have a lens on their mobile)
10. Trekking pole (optional)
Reminder: You must be at the pick-up point at least 5 minutes before departure (the exact location will be sent to participants with the ticket when you complete your payment).
Note 1. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants who are unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the date of the event, the money is not returned.
Note 2. Photo material is shared on our page and social media after each event. By participating in a Salonica View event, you also accept the sharing of photos. Otherwise, please let us know.
Note 3. For the best functioning of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.
Note 4. The program may be modified depending on the weather conditions of those days.
Note 5. Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation less than 72 hours before the event or no-show, you will be required to cover the full cost of your participation. This policy applies to cover operating expenses and reservations that have already been made.
Note 6. The guides have the right to adjust the tour stops and the program depending on the time available, without omitting important points of interest.
