The Salonica View office for outdoor activities and sports tourism organizes a day trip and hiking in the gorge of the river Aggitis.
A few words about Aggitis:
It is the largest tributary of the Strymon river with a length of 75 km. Its springs are located in Drama and its gorge extends between the mountains Paggaio and Menoikio with a length of 15 km. The river crosses part of the prefecture of Drama and Serres. Also, its cave is the largest cave in the world at 11 kilometers and the largest in Greece.
A few words about the cave of Orpheus:
The Cave of Orpheus is a place of incomparable natural beauty. Inside the cave, the slow but invincible power of water has carved 45,000-year-old stalagmites into stunning formations. It is a horizontal, labyrinthine cave, with a total length of 300 meters and a width ranging from 20 meters to 30 meters.

Note 1. For the best operation of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the escorts.
Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the trip is postponed to another date. Participants who can not participate on this date will have a refund. However, if the weather conditions still do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and a refund is given to everyone. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the date of the event, the money is non-refundable.
