The Salonica View alternative tourism office organizes a one-day hike from Triadi Lake to Lanari Peak.
A few words about the artificial Triad Lake:
Lake Triadi is located in the wider area of Thermi, we find it by following a passable dirt road just outside the village of Triadi. It is an artificial lake that was created in 1997 when the Triadi Dam was built by the Municipality of Thermi. Although small in area, it creates a beautiful natural landscape, surrounded by hills and forest with green pines. The lake and the dam were naturally named after the village.
A few words about the path:
From the lake starts a 12 km path that has been named "Fox Path". It is a circular route of no great difficulty of almost 3 hours. The course followed by the path is parallel to the shores of the lake at first but slowly going uphill it passes through small streams and gullies. The path also passes through the abandoned settlement of Mersinouda. On the "Fox path," there are several points with a view, apart from the lake, the mountainous mass of Hortiatis, and the city of Thessaloniki. If the weather permits, the visibility towards the Thermaikos Gulf reaches as far as Mount Olympus.

Note 1. For the best functioning of the event and safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.
Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the date of the event, the money is not returned.
Note 3. Photographic material is shared on our page and social media after each event. By participating in a Salonica View event, you also accept the sharing of photos. Otherwise, please let us know.
