The office of outdoor activities and sports tourism Salonica View organizes a one-day excursion and ascent from Thessaloniki to the top Aeroporos and Hamitis on Mount Vermin.
A few words about Vermio:
Mount Vermio is located in Western Macedonia, as it rises west of Thessaloniki. It occupies parts of the prefectures of Imathia, Kozani, and Pella, while in its northern parts it is connected to the southern ends of Mount Vora (Kaimaktsalan) in the straits of Edessa and the basin of Lake Vegoritida. Vermio is a verdant mountain with beeches, chestnuts, firs, and oaks. Also, an important forest species of Vermio is the chestnut. Its highest peak is called Hamitis and is located at an altitude of 2,065 m, with stunning views of the neighboring mountains. The gentle morphology of Vermio has made it a favorite destination for mountain lovers.

08:00 - Departure by bus from Thessaloniki (Statue of Venizelos - Aristotelous Square)
09:30 - Arrival at the starting point of the route at the ski resort three-five wells
09:45 - Start of the climb
16:45 - End of ascent
17:00 - Departure for coffee or food
18:30 - Departure for return to Thessaloniki
20:00 - Possible arrival time in Thessaloniki

Note 1. For the best operation of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the escorts.
Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the trip is postponed to another date. Participants who are unable to attend on this date will receive a refund. However, if the weather conditions still do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and a refund is given to everyone. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the date of the event, the money is non-refundable.
