Salonica View Travel Agency is organizing a one-day hiking trip on one of the most beautiful trails of the Troodos National Forest Park: the Persephone Nature Trail.

A Few Words About Our Trip

We will depart in the morning from Nicosia (Agios Stylianos Church, Strovolos) and head towards Troodos Square. From Troodos Square, we will begin our hike along the Persephone Nature Trail. After completing the hike, we will have time for lunch and relaxation at a restaurant in the area.

Persephone Nature Trail

The Persephone Trail is a beautiful nature trail offering spectacular views. The route passes through a dense Black Pine forest and offers impressive views towards the Makria Kontarka area. Throughout the route, hikers can enjoy beautiful scenery, rich vegetation and wonderful groups of trees. It is an easy trail, suitable for beginners as well as children over 8 years old when accompanied by their parents.

Participation Fee

€15/person – with your own vehicle
€25/person – including transportation from and back to Nicosia

€2 from every participation fee will be donated to support the work of Terra Cypria and the protection of Cyprus’ natural environment.

The list of recommended personal items is indicative. Each participant may bring anything else they consider necessary for their own comfort and needs during the trip.

Note 1: When making your reservation, please indicate in the message whether you will use the bus transportation or come with your own vehicle.

Note 2: For the smooth operation of the event and for safety reasons, all participants must follow the instructions of the group leaders.

Note 3: In case the event is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, the trip will be rescheduled for another date. Participants who are unable to attend on the new date will receive a refund. If weather conditions do not allow the event to take place on the rescheduled date either, the event will be permanently cancelled and all participants will receive a full refund.

Note 4: Photos from our activities are shared on our website and social media after each event. By participating in a Salonica View event, you agree to the publication of photographs from the event. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform us.

Note 5 – Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation less than 72 hours before the event or in case of a no-show, participants will be required to cover the full participation fee. This policy applies in order to cover operating expenses and reservations that have already been made.

Note 6: The group leaders reserve the right to adjust the stops and schedule of the trip depending on the available time, without excluding any important points of interest.

INFORMATION REGARDING ALL OUR EXCURSIONS

Four days before the excursion, usually on Wednesday, an official update will be sent to all participants confirming whether the excursion will take place.

• reaching the required minimum number of participants,
• weather conditions,
• and other organizational factors.
