This time, Salonica View is taking you to the picturesque village of Fyti in Paphos, where Cypriot tradition is still very much alive!
Join us for a beautiful day at the Fyti Weaving Festival, filled with traditional weaving, authentic Cypriot flavours, local products and everything that gives a Cypriot village its unique charm.
A few words about our excursion
We will begin our journey from Nicosia, with pick-up stops in Kofinou and Limassol, before heading to the picturesque village of Fyti in Paphos to enjoy the unique Fyti Weaving Festival!
Upon arrival in Fyti, we will have the opportunity to discover the famous Fytiotiko weaving tradition, watch local weavers working on traditional looms and learn more about the techniques and craftsmanship that have been preserved for centuries.
During the festival, we will also experience traditional Cypriot practices, such as halloumi making and zivania distillation. The various stalls will offer local products, handicrafts and traditional Cypriot delicacies, including resi, loukoumades, palouze, traditional breads, honey pies and much more. There will also be free time to stroll through the picturesque streets and discover the beautiful corners of Fyti.
Our excursion will continue with a lovely stop at Paphos Harbour, where we will have free time for a walk, coffee or lunch by the sea.
After our free time, we will begin our return journey, bringing a wonderful day of tradition and exploration to an end.

Important Notes
Note 1: When making your booking, please indicate in the message the location from which you will be boarding the bus.
Note 2: For the smooth running of the event and for safety reasons, all participants must follow the instructions of the group leaders.
Note 3: In case the event is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the excursion will be rescheduled for another date. Participants who are unable to attend on the new date will receive a refund. If weather conditions once again prevent the event from taking place, the event will be cancelled and all participants will receive a full refund.
Note 4: Photographs from our events may be shared on our website and social media channels. By participating in a Salonica View event, you agree to the publication of photographs in which you may appear. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform us in advance.
Note 5 – Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation less than 48 hours before the event, or in case of a no-show, participants will be required to pay the full participation fee. This policy applies in order to cover operational expenses and reservations that have already been made.
Note 6: The group leaders reserve the right to adjust the stops and itinerary according to the available time, without omitting any important points of interest.

INFORMATION REGARDING ALL OUR EXCURSIONS
Four days before the excursion, usually on Wednesday, an official update will be sent to all participants confirming whether the excursion will take place.
Confirmation depends on:
- Reaching the required minimum number of participants
- Weather conditions
- Other organisational factors
