The Salonica View team invites you to a winter-festive hike along the coastline, from Sofroniou Coast (Governor's Coast) to the area of Saint Georgios Alamanos.
A few words about our excursion:
Departure in the morning from Nicosia (Cypriot Handicraft Center) to Governor's Coast. Before our hike, we will stop for a warm tahini pie & coffee at the Sigma bakery in Choirokitia. Immediately afterwards, we will move to Sofroniou Coast, where our hike along the coastline will begin. The route, with a total distance of 6–7 km, follows the impressive limestone formations and the coastal line, with open views of the sea. After our hike, we will go for dinner at the traditional Saint Anna tavern. At the end of the excursion there will be a gift exchange: Everyone brings a gift up to €5, where a raffle will be held among all participants. After lunch, we all depart together to return to Nicosia.
Secret Santa – Gift Exchange
- At the end of the meal, a Secret Santa-style Christmas gift exchange will take place.
- Each participant is invited to bring 1 small, wrapped gift worth up to €5.
- All gifts will be collected in a bag and a raffle will be held, so that everyone will receive a surprise gift at random.

The food package includes grilled appetizers & Lenten appetizers, such as:
Lenten meatballs, koupepias, purgouri, potatoes, kalokasi, cauliflower, herb, etc.

You must have with you:
- Mountaineering shoes or boots or very good sports shoes

- Tissues
- Hiking pole/stick
- Camera (optional)
Note 1. For the best operation of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the guides.
Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion will be transferred to another date. Participants who cannot participate on the specific date will be refunded. However, if the weather conditions still do not allow the event to take place, the event will be permanently canceled and everyone will be refunded.
Note 3. Photographic material is shared on our website and social media after each event. By participating in a Salonica View event, you agree to the sharing of photos. Otherwise, please inform us.
Note 4. Cancellation policy: in case of cancellation less than 72 hours before the event or your failure to appear at the activity/excursion, you will be required to cover the full cost of your participation. This policy applies to cover operating expenses and reservations that have already been made.
Note 5. Guides have the right to adjust the tour stops and the program depending on the time available, without omitting important points of interest.
