Team Building

Team building games’ aim at the emotional ‘bonding’ of the team, the contact, and communication of its members, who are called to work harmoniously and effectively with each other in order to achieve the specific purpose of each game. Particular importance is given to the acceptance and respect of the teammate, but also to the trust that needs to exist between the members, often unknown to each other, which emerges as a key and integral part of these activities. The feeling of belonging to a group satisfies basic human instincts as a social being, with such activities elevating them morally and mentally.

The variety of team building games is very large. They can include a small or large group of people, of different or the same age, with static or active participation, with communication between members verbal, written, contact, or even pantomime. There may be the context of a direct or more indirect acquaintance of teammates with a playful mood. The flow, pace, and duration of the game can also depend on the participants themselves, giving them more enjoyment in the participatory process. The game can be dynamic and adapted in such a way that it responds to each team at a time.

Especially in adults, team building games can relive memories and emotions from their childhood, bring them back into contact with play and fun, motivating everyone to enter a role different from the rest of their daily life, more casual and carefree. With the game, you undoubtedly know more about yourself and your potential spiritually, mentally, and physically, as you try, act on yourself and expose yourself to stimuli, but also to the rest of the team. Your creativity and ingenuity are enhanced, you take on responsibilities and roles, and your self-confidence increases, while at the same time you feel more familiar with the people you are called to work with, the common positive experiences with them lay the foundation for a beautiful coexistence. Many of the activities may involve more active participation, thus encouraging physical exercise and movement, something that is often lacking in modern man.

Quoted from Jan Neuman's book, "the game symbolizes a truly different world in which we discover ourselves and get to know others. The function of the game is to rejuvenate our energy, making it an active relaxation ".

Since the game is a very sweet experience for the individual and it is a given that a beautiful experience becomes bigger when you create it and share it with other people, team building games become invaluable for the person.
