The Salonica View team is organizing a one-day excursion to the Cyprus Railway Museum, a pilgrimage to the Monastery of John the Baptist, and a visit to the magnificent Mesa Potamos waterfall.
A few words about our route:
Our excursion will start from Nicosia and more specifically from the Center for Cypriot Handicrafts. We will head to the Cyprus Railway Museum in Evrychou. We will continue our journey to the Holy Monastery of John the Baptist for a pilgrimage located in Mesa Potamos. Then we will visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Cyprus, the Mesa Potamos waterfall. The waterfall is formed at an altitude of 900 meters and the water falls from a height of 7 meters, creating a beautiful setting in the Troodos forest. In the area, we will see lush green landscapes with pines, plane trees, and oaks. At the end of our excursion, there will be time for lunch, coffee and rest in Kakopetria.
