Hiking on the trail "Glory to God - Fireworks Madari"

The Salonica View team organizes a one-day excursion and hike on the path "Glory to God - Madari Fireworks".

A few words about our hike:

Our route will start from the Cypriot Handicrafts Center in Nicosia and we will head towards the village of Kyperounda. Our hike will start from the location "Glory to God" at a distance of 2 km from Kyperounda. The route is linear and is characterized as a path of moderate difficulty. The duration of the route is estimated at 2 hours. The path is located at an altitude of about 1600 m above sea level on the ridge of Madari. We will end up near the top of Adelfoi, where the fire tower of Madari is also located.

Degree of difficulty: 2 moderate (in some places the degree of difficulty depending on the season can become 3 - to difficult)

The path offers panoramic views climbing the mountain in all directions.

20 euros (hiking, organization & transportation by bus)

Note 1. When you click to book, state in the message where you will take the bus for your departure.

Note 2. For the best functioning of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.

Note 3. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants who are unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if the weather conditions do not allow the event to occur again, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the event date, the money is not returned.
