The Salonica View team organizes a one-day hike in Styllarka of Akanthos. Come and get to know another part of this historic place by combining it with hiking and exercise.
A few words about our route:
Our route will start from Nicosia and we will head towards the roadblock of Saint Dometios. We will pass through our occupied villages, Omorfita, Mia Milia, Neo Chorio, and Lefkoniko until we reach the village of Akanthos. Our hike. will start from the square of Akanthos village. On our route, we will have the opportunity to see strange rocks in various shapes that are lost among the greenery that exists in the surrounding mountains. At the end of our hike, we will have time to rest and eat in Famagusta and then return to Nicosia.
A few words about Styllarka:
They are visible limestone rocks up to 30 meters high that pierce the Akanthi sky like huge torches and that in March have a unique color on which the hawks used to build their caves. It is a miracle of nature, among the many joys and graces that the molder generously bestowed on our town.

Note 1. When you click to make a reservation, state in the message where you will take the bus from.
Note 2. For the best functioning of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.
Note 3. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the event date, the money is not returned.
