The Salonica View team organizes a one-day excursion and hike on the "Genesis of Venus" trail in Pissouri.
A few words about our hike:
Our route will start from the Cypriot Handicrafts Center in Nicosia and head towards Pissouri (stop in Kofinou, Limassol). We will walk along the "Genesis of Venus" path. The route is linear, 5km, and is characterized as a moderate path, which is why a very good physical condition is required. In some parts of the route, the road is slippery and attention is needed. The duration of the route is estimated at 2 hours. The slopes with wild vegetation, the herds of animals, the farm with horses that give another tone to the landscape, and the impressive view of the white cliffs that meet the blue sea make our route impressive. After our hike is completed we will have free time for lunch in Pissouri.

Pissouri: The charming village of Pissouri is located in Limassol District, about 30 kilometers west of Limassol, midway from Limassol to Paphos. It is the 3rd largest village in the administrative area of Limassol District and extends to the sea in the south. It is located in the greenery on the slope of a hill at a distance of 3 kilometers northwest of the "Aspro" cape.

You must have with you:
- Mountaineering shoes (Preferably because the ground is slippery in some places) or Good sports shoes
- Hiking pants or leggings
- Second shirt, socks, one small towel (change)
- Snack and Water
- Backpack
- Raincoat (required)
- Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
- Tissues
- Walking stick (optional, but we recommend that you bring it with you on this particular hike)
- Camera (optional)
Note 1. When you click to book, state in the message where you will take the bus for your departure.
Note 2. For the best functioning of the event and safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.
Note 3. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants who are unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the event date, the money is not returned.
