The Salonica View alternative tourism office organizes hiking in Fikardos and wine tasting in Farmakas
A few words about our trip:
We will leave early in the morning from the Handicrafts centre to the village of Fikardou. There we will have time to tour the village and also hike the E4 path. Then we will board the bus bound this time to Farmaka village, where we will visit the Ierampelos winery. The experienced staff will take us on a tour of the winery and show us the process of making the wine. At the end of the tour, there will be a wine tasting, where we will have the opportunity to taste seven different wines! Finally, we will have lunch at the winery and enjoy the rich buffet with Cypriot and foreign cuisine! We will return to Nicosia after first drinking our afternoon coffee.
Cost of participation (per person):
35 euros (Transfer by bus, hiking, the tour of the winery, wine tasting and rich buffet).

- Good sneakers or hiking boots (if you have them)
- Hiking pants or leggings
- Second shirt, socks, one small towel (change)
- Snack and Water
- Backpack
- Waterproof (required)
- Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
- Tissues
- Baton (optional)
- Camera (optional)
Note 1. For the best functioning of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the attendants' instructions.
Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants who are unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently cancelled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the date of the event, the money is not returned.
