The Salonica View team organizes a one-day hike on the Machira - Politiko path on the Pediaos River. Come and get to know another part of this historic place by combining it with hiking and exercise.
Our group organizes a hiking excursion, which will start from the handicraft center to the village of Mahira, which is the starting point of our hike. The bus will drop us off at the beginning of the route and pick us up at the end. During our hike, we will have the opportunity to see the gorge formed through the mountains and the river Pediaio that passes through them. At the end of our hike, we will visit the village of Episkopeio.
A few words about the path:
There are many rocks and around them, you will see several endemic species of plants. On our route, we may encounter animals such as the chameleon, and the wild snake, and birds such as partridges, pheasants, and man-birds.

Note 1. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the event date, the advance money is not returned.
Note 2. Photo material is shared on our page and social media after each event. By participating in a Salonica View event, you also accept the sharing of photos. Otherwise, please let us know.
Note 3. For the best functioning of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.
