Saint Sozomenos: is a ruined village in the Nicosia district, abandoned since 1964 after the Tigranes events and the exodus of its residents. In the village there is a cave church dedicated to the ascetic and saint Sozomenos, with frescoes and historical character, the place used to gather around the ascetic and his worship. There are the ruins of the medieval — Latin — church of Saint Mamas, with Gothic architectural elements, which testify to the medieval presence in the place. Saint Sozomenos was once a mixed village of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, a microcosm of multicultural Cyprus before the conflicts, a fact that makes its memory important for the common history and peace.
The Church of Saint Demetrios in Dali is a small Byzantine church, single-aisled with a dome and simple stone architecture.
It dates back to medieval times and preserves parts of old frescoes.
It is a historical reference point of the area and an important example of local religious tradition.
