The alternative tourism office Salonica View organizes a day trip and boating in the Blue Lagoon in Latchi.
A few words about the trip:
We will start early, early from Nicosia (Craft Center). We will make stops in Kofinou (Church of Agios Modestos - Village Square) and in Limassol (Jumbo Linopetra), for those friends who want to board from these areas and then by car, we will head to Paphos and later to the port of Latsi. We will board the boat and from there our adventure begins. Until we reach the Blue Lagoon, we will pass through the Baths of Aphrodite, the church of St. Georgiou, Platsi (Bay of Theater), Gulf of Mylonas, Fontana Amorosa, Akrotiri Arnaouti. In all the places we mentioned, there will be a tour by the captain. In the bay of Blue Lagoon, we will have time for swimming and diving (1 hour). At 13.30, it will be our arrival at the port of Latsio. We will board the bus again and depart for the tavern "O Pavlaras" in the neighbouring village of Neo Chorion. It is a tavern at the foot of Akamas on a hill overlooking the entire beach, Latsi and Polis Chrysochou. Afterwards, our food and drink will be taken on the bus. Our next stop is the monastery of Agios Neophytos of Engleistos, which is located near the village of Tala. At this point, the Saint was looking for a place to isolate himself, so he carved the mountain on his own and created the so-called enclosure. Inside the enclosure, there are various frescoes, which date from the 12th to the 15th century. From the monastery, we will take the way back. They will be made at all points of departure and will be at the final destination Nicosia and the Craft Center.

However, if the weather conditions still do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently cancelled and a refund is given to everyone.
