The Salonica View team organizes an afternoon hike to Saint Ambrosios in Kyrenia and then a swim in the sea.
A few words:
Our afternoon will start from Nicosia and the Handicraft Center and after about 1 hour and 30 minutes of bus ride, we will reach the starting point of our hike. The hike will take approximately 2 hours and the route is easy without technical difficulties (difficulty level 1, scale 1-5). Then we will have free time to swim at Alakati beach and after our swim, we will make our way back to Nicosia.
Saint Ambrosios of Kyrenia:
Occupied village in the province of Kyrenia, 160m above sea level, 24km east of Kyrenia. The village is built on the coastal plain of Kyrenia. The altitude in its area increases noticeably from the coastal plain to the south where it becomes mountainous with high and steep peaks reaching 800 meters. The landscape is not only sloping but also dissected by small streams that originate from the ridge of Pentadaktylos and pour into the sea area of Kyrenia.

Note 2. For the best functioning of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.
Note 3. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants who are unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the date of the event, the money is not returned.
