Afternoon hike on the nature trail ''Virgin Mary of Asinou - Saint Theodoros Soleas''

The Salonica View team is organizing an afternoon hike with a sunset backdrop on the path that starts from the church of Virgin Mary of Asinou and ends at Saint Theodoros Soleas, the highest point of the route. There, under the light of the full moon, we will stop to enjoy our wine with a unique view of the Gulf of Morphou.

A few words about our route:

We will start by bus from the Cyprus Handicraft Center in Nicosia and head towards the Holy Church of Virgin Mary of Asinou. Our hike will start from the historic church of Virgin Mary of Asinou, with its unique 12th century frescoes that have been recognized by UNESCO. From there, the route leads us through forest and rural roads, with changing landscapes and a panoramic view that embraces the Gulf of Morphou. At the end of our journey we will enjoy our wine under the light of the full moon before our return.

Length: 3.5 km (to the finish), rest stop and return another 3.5 km back

Total route length: 7km

Time: 4 hours (round trip)

Reminder: You should be at the meeting point 5 minutes before the start of the activity (the exact point will be sent to participants with the ticket).

Note 1. For the best operation of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the escorts.

Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion will be transferred to another date. Participants who cannot participate on the specific date will receive a refund. However, if the weather conditions still do not allow the event to take place, the event will be permanently canceled and everyone will be refunded.

Note 3. Photographic material is shared on our page and on social media after each event. By participating in a Salonica View event, you agree to the sharing of photos. Otherwise, please let us know.

Note 4. Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation less than 72 hours before the event or no-show, you will be charged the full cost of your participation. This policy applies to cover operating expenses and reservations that have already been made.
