The Salonica View team organizes an afternoon hike to Cape Greco on the Aphrodite trail. Explore one of the most enchanting destinations in Cyprus with us.
A few words about the event:
We will start from Nicosia and the Cypriot Handicrafts Center. Our hike will start from the Environmental Information Center of Cabo Greco. It will last 1 hour. Afterward, we will have time for diving and swimming at the beach before returning back to Nicosia.
Hiking:
The Aphrodite Trail is located inside the Cabo Greco National Forest Park and follows a downhill slope until it reaches the beach. At this point, it connects with the Sea Caves - Agioi Anargyri trail and before reaching a natural bridge called "Crow's Arch" takes an uphill course towards the Visitor Center. The first part of our route passes by the ruins of the ancient temple, dedicated to the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite. On the way to the beach, the path passes through natural caves with dry stones that were used by shepherds in the past.

Note 1. For the best functioning of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the attendants.
Note 2. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion is moved to another date. Participants unable to participate on that date will be refunded. However, if again the weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, the event is permanently canceled and everyone is refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the event date, the money is not returned.
