Panagiota Theofilou is a graduand student at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports in the Democritus University of Thrace with a major in Sports Tourism and Entertainment.
Her career in sports began in 2005 with women’s football. She competed in sports academies and first-class women’s football teams (Sports Union of Ammohostos, Leykothea Latsion, Omonoia-Leykothea Latsion), taking part in competitions such as Women’s Super Cup, Pancypriotic Championship, and Women’s Cups. From 2017 up until today, she participates in Greek National B Class Championship with Rodopis 87 in Komotini. Moreover, she has taken part with the Youth Women National Team of Cyprus in formal and friendly matches of UEFA in Cyprus or abroad.
She has good knowledge, experience, and abilities about many kinds of sports and has taken honor and sports excellences in the context of school and university’s sports (basketball and handball). She possesses a yellow and half-green belt in Taekwondo and has successfully participated in the Salas Umpire School of Volleyball of the Union of Volleyball Refereeres of Thrace.
Took part in camps with the Cyprus Scouts Association and in sports activities of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science (canoe, kayak, zip line, sailing, climbing, abseiling, and hiking).
She is an enthusiastic type of person with humor and she likes travels of action and sport in nature. She is keen on hiking trips, outdoors and sports activities, and sports adventures. She has a passion for photography and video creation. She hunts adventures and she is sports-conscious to get away from daily routine.
