Hiking at Cape Kormakitis

The Salonica View team is organizing an afternoon hike from Livera to Cape Kormakitis.

A few words about our route:

In the morning we will start from Nicosia and the Cyprus Handicraft Center and head towards the Saint Dometios roadblock. After about 1 hour by bus we will reach the starting point of our hike in the village of Livera. The landscape we will walk through will be magnificent. We will walk on a path that is located above the sea, enjoying the view that will accompany us the entire way. When we reach Cape Kormakitis, we will have the opportunity to enjoy and photograph an amazing landscape. After our hike we will board the bus and go to the village of Kormakitis where we will have free time to rest. From there we will take the return road to Nicosia and the Saint Dometios roadblock full of beautiful memories.

You must have with you:

1. ID or passport (if you reside in Cyprus and are from another country, also bring your yellow slip)
2. Personal belongings
3. Snacks
4. Water
5. Good sports shoes
6. Mountaineering pants or leggings
7. Second shirt, socks, a small towel (change of clothes)
8. Waterproof jacket (necessary)
9. Backpack
10. Camera (optional)
11. Trekking pole (optional)

Note 1. When you click to make a reservation, state in the message where you will pick up the bus.

Note 2. For the best operation of the event and for safety reasons, participants must comply with the instructions of the escorts.

Note 3. In case of cancellation of the event due to bad weather conditions, the excursion will be transferred to another date. Participants who cannot participate on the specific date will be refunded. However, if the weather conditions still do not allow the event to take place, the event will be permanently canceled and everyone will be refunded. In case of cancellation by the participants, 7 days or less before the event date, the money will not be refunded.
