A few words about our excursion:
Our excursion will start with a morning flight from Larnaca, as we arrive in Athens we will continue our route to the village of Vourgareli, the area where we will spend the four nights. On the second day we will carry out the activity of rafting on the Arachthos river, in one of the most beautiful gorges in Greece. Then we will move to the main town of Tzoumerka, Pramanta, for lunch. The third day of our excursion will be a hiking day. We will hike to the Souda waterfalls, a short route of about half an hour, which are among the largest waterfalls in Greece as they reach a height of 25 meters. The next day we will move exclusively to the area where we will spend the night, Vourgareli, to explore its paths, history and culture. On the last day we will have breakfast at the hotel and depart for the airport and return flight. There will be a stop at the Isthmus of Corinth for coffee and snacks.
Each of our days individually:
Day 1
Departure from Larnaca at 07:00 by air to Athens. We will board the bus and head to Amfilochia, where there will be a stop for coffee and snacks. Then we will head to the final destination, the village of Vourgareli, where our hotel is located.
Day 2
Time for action. Breakfast at the hotel and immediately boarding the bus to Politsa bridge. From there after some small training the adventure begins. Rafting in one of the most beautiful gorges in Greece, the Arachthos gorge. At the end of our activity, we will go to Pramanta, the head village of Tzoumerka, where we will have free time for lunch. In the late afternoon we will return to the hotel.
A few words about Arachthos River:
The iconic Arachthos River flows through some of the most beautiful areas of Greece. It originates from the north of Pindos and passing between the mountains, Lakmos and Mitsikeli, it empties into Amvrakikos. On its way, it crosses green and impressive canyons, offering unique images and experiences. We encounter flow with continuous waves, strong turns and passages of 2nd - 3rd degree. We cross the most beautiful part of the river that starts from the Politsa Bridge in Ambelochori and ends at the famous Plaka Bridge. The entrance to the narrow Arachthos Gorge is imposing with vertical slopes 700 meters high.

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by bus with the guide to the village of Theodoriana. We will go to the center of the village to start our hike to the Souda waterfalls. In the late afternoon we will return to the hotel.
A few words about the Souda waterfalls:
They are called Souda waterfalls and they are among the largest waterfalls in Greece as they reach a height of 25 meters. To get to the point where the water falls, it takes about 30 minutes of hiking through the forest. Route, beautiful, between fir trees to find ourselves in a short time in front of the amazing sight of the two waterfalls that pour their waters from a height of 25 meters.

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel and free time in the area, Vourgareli, to explore the trails. This day we will enjoy the natural beauty of the area and the food of our hotel.
A few words about Bourgareli:
Vourgareli is located in Eastern Tzoumerka (Athamanika Mountains), at an altitude of 800m. between two picturesque hills covered with firs and pines - Prophet Ilias to the east and Omali to the west. It is an ideal destination for all seasons of the year, since it is also suitable for winter lovers, while it is kept cool in the summer, being only half an hour (by car) from the famous natural pools of the Acheloos River. Nearby points of interest in the village are the Red Church, the Holy Monastery of Agios Georgios and the Great Fountain Bridge.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel and departure. During the route there will be a stop at the Isthmus of Corinth for coffee and snacks. Arrival at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport and return flight.
